“Use of Computer Simulation in Litigation — with emphasis on Vehicles, Humans, and Structures”
John Zolock, PhD, PE
This talk discusses how computer simulation can be used in litigation matters involving vehicle accidents, people being injured, and/or building structures. The talk will include a discussion of the approaches to how comprehensive a simulation needs to be conducted, how validation is performed, where simulations can go wrong, and how to present the results to a jury. Examples of vehicle impacts, vehicle handling maneuvers, human dynamics and injury potential, and building loading and failure will be discussed.
To Register: e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Log in information will be provided to attendees about a week prior to the event.
